What changes in Bookniapp 1.0.8
This release extends Bookniapp beyond the app: you can now embed your bookings on your own website with an iFrame and share events or business profiles with a single tap.
On top of that, significant UI and UX improvements, two new languages, and an extra security layer in the application.
Web integration with iFrame
Businesses can now publish their booking system directly on their own website without dealing with heavy technical integrations.
This captures more bookings through the channels the business already operates, without forcing the customer to leave for another platform.
- iFrame widget ready to paste on any website.
- Full booking without leaving the business page.
- Less friction for the customer and more conversion for the business.
Share events and businesses with one tap
New share actions designed for both businesses and customers, aimed at simplifying word-of-mouth recommendation.
Any event or business profile can be spread through the user’s usual channels in seconds.
- Share an event (for businesses and customers).
- Share a business from the customer view.
- Native operating-system share sheet to reach any messaging app or social network.
UI and UX improvements across the app
This release cleans up several visual friction points and polishes details that affect daily use for both businesses and customers.
The result is a more consistent, more readable interface, less prone to visual errors.
- New color picker with a clearer, more usable pop-up.
- New UI for bookings inside the business app.
- Back button with reinforced background on images for better legibility.
- "Explore" widget redesigned for customers, smoother and clearer.
- Login: the "Forgot password" link no longer overlaps with "Remember password".
- Business calendar fixes (visual and behavioral cases).
Aligned business catalog and new languages
So that businesses and customers see the exact same offering on the website and in the app, we unified the business-type catalog.
We also extended international coverage with two new native languages in the application.
- Same business types in the app as those published on the website.
- New language: Ukrainian.
- New language: Russian.
Security measures
Application-level security measures have been strengthened to protect sessions, business data, and customer data.
